Diving in and getting started with anything - new work week, new health habits, or just tackling the ongoing list of ‘to do’s’ - can be challenging. Make it your goal this week to choose one of these productivity tips:
✨Schedule important work for the hours you feel most energized and save 'easier' work for lower-energy periods.
✨Break down a larger task (or goal), into something smaller and more manageable. If your goal is to start meal prepping your lunches, try incorporating this habit 2 days a week and work your way up to additional days.
✨Delegate tasks. It’s ok to ask for help. None of us are expected to do it all. What’s one small task someone could take off your plate this week?
✨ Create specific, measurable goals with clear timelines. Here is an example (starting small): This week, on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, I will mediate for 3-5 minutes at 8:00a.m. Choose times, durations and days that you know will be most achievable to you.
✨Try time blocking. Use this time management method to divide your day into blocks of time. Each block is dedicated to accomplishing a specific task, or group of tasks, and only those specific tasks. I recently started using this method and it has definitely boosted my productivity!
✨Make time to clear your mind. Sometimes a mental break is necessary. Try going for a short walk outside - it can work wonders!
✨Remember to reward yourself! Check that task off your list and treat yourself!
