A Little About Me

Hi, I'm Ruth! So glad you’re here. Having worked in the Human Resources profession for 20+ years, I feel like I know a thing or two about people. People have always been my passion. 

 

As a trained Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, it is my mission to empower, guide and support busy, but motivated women in their 30’s and 40’s on their health and wellness journey. Notice that I used the word ‘journey’ and not ‘destination.’ When you’re doing it right, it truly is a journey and one that is unique to you. My personal journey has included weight fluctuations, body image issues, emotional eating, and for the last 30+ years, management of an autoimmune condition. 

 

I’m also a Mom so I know that nourishing ourselves, as well as our families can feel like a full-time job. Between finding wholesome, nutritious foods that please multiple palettes, to trying to navigate the noise on social media, to being confused about where to start because your plate is already piled high with ‘to do’s’ - I’m here to help.

 

There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to health and wellness. It’s also not only about the food on your plate. However, by working together to understand your individual needs, getting back to basics, and providing SIMPLE guidance and support, sustainable change is possible.
